Bennett Valley is small and picturesque, ringed by
rolling upland hills and the surrounding Sonoma Mountain Range.
Bennett Valley is defined by Bennett Mountain (Annadel State Park)
to the northeast, Taylor Mountain and Santa Rosa to the northwest
and Bennett Ridge and Sonoma Mountain on the southwest. The valley,
together with the surrounding hills and the mountains that enclose
it, comprise the watershed of Matanzas Creek, which flows through
the valley eventually emptying into the Russian River.
